Eastern Shores Residence, North Miami: Custom Millwork, Wall Panels, Floating Staircase & Outdoor Furniture
Serving Eastern Shores, North Miami, Sunny Isles and Aventura: CM Custom Design built a full custom scope for a modern waterfront residence, mixing wood, metal, glass, stone and concrete finishes with precise detailing.
Most “luxury interiors” fail for one reason: they’re designed like décor, not built like architecture.
A Clean Modern Edge, Built in Wood
The client wanted wood materials, but with a clean modern edge. So we designed and built a full custom scope for this Eastern Shores home in North Miami, blending high-end materials with precise detailing from the entry to the water.
The modern Eastern Shores residence in North Miami
One Scope, One Design Language
Custom millwork and fine carpentry, architectural wall panels, integrated cabinetry, LED-lit millwork, floating vanities, a floating staircase and outdoor furniture were planned together, so every piece speaks the same language inside and out.
A glass railing bridge crosses the reflecting pool at the entry
Architectural Wood Wall Panels with Consistent Reveals
The client wanted wood, but with a clean modern edge. The wood slat wall panels in the master bedroom and living areas were built with consistent reveals and tight alignment, so the rhythm holds from one panel to the next and the lines read as architecture, not décor.
Custom Cabinetry, Built-Ins and TV Wall Unit
Custom cabinetry and built-ins in Eastern Shores look integrated, not “added.” The living room TV wall unit pairs wood wall panels with a concrete-look finish, with the cabinet lines, panel joints and floating console all aligned to the same grid.
LED-Integrated Millwork
LED lighting is built into the millwork from the start, not added afterward. Concealed light washes across the wood slats to create depth and bring out the texture of the material, and it highlights the floating console and fireplace below.
Custom Floating Vanities for the Master Bathroom
The master bathroom features custom floating vanities with stone sinks, mounted to create a true floating feel. Paired with the freestanding tub and glass shower, the vanity keeps the floor clear and the room feeling open toward the waterfront view.
Statement Floating Staircase
The floating staircase is designed to feel light and modern, with wood treads, a glass railing, a stainless handrail and LED lighting. It sits beside a green moss wall, so the stair becomes a sculptural focal point of the home.
Outdoor Custom Furniture Built for a Coastal Climate
Outdoor custom furniture was built to match the interior language and to perform in a coastal climate. The dining table, lounge pieces and patio furniture around the pool and dock carry the home’s clean lines out to the water.
