Last updated: September 4, 2026

CM Custom Design (“CM Custom Design,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website cmcustomdesign.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly. When you submit our contact form, request a consultation, or otherwise reach out to us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message or project.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the Site, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and general location (city/region level) derived from your IP address, through cookies, log files, and similar technologies.
• Information from analytics and advertising tools. We use tools such as Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the performance of our advertising. These tools may collect information about your browsing behavior on and off our Site, subject to their own privacy policies (see Section 3 below).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account details, or health information) through the Site, and we ask that you not include such information in any contact form submission.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide requested information about our residential, commercial, hospitality, and millwork/fabrication services;
• Schedule consultations and communicate with you about a potential or active project;
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it;
• Measure and improve the performance of our marketing and advertising;
• Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, property, and safety of CM Custom Design, our clients, and others; and
• For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time the information is collected, or with your consent.

We do not use the information collected through the contact form for any purpose unrelated to responding to your inquiry and, where you have expressed interest, following up about our services, unless you separately opt in to additional communications.

3. Cookies & Analytics

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites function and collect usage information. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies that allow the Site to function properly;
• Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand how visitors interact with the Site, including pages visited, time on site, and general traffic patterns; and
• Advertising cookies (such as Meta Pixel) that help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and, where applicable, show relevant ads to visitors who have shown interest in our services.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; most browsers let you refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain parts of the Site. For more information about how Google and Meta use data collected through their tools, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, form processing, analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (Meta), who are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide those services.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfers. If CM Custom Design is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any such change via a notice on the Site.

5. Data Retention

We retain the information you submit through our contact form for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the underlying tool (for example, Google Analytics’ standard retention periods) and is generally not used to personally identify you.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your information, such as targeted advertising.

To make such a request, contact us using the information in Section 11 below. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law. You may also opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage ad personalization through your Meta ad settings.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the Site.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms and vendor or partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
