This Diptyque Paris boutique fit-out is a high-end retail build by CM Custom Design. Overall, it was handled from concept through final install. For example, one team planned and built every surface. This ran from the coffered ceiling above the sales floor to the millwork beneath the fragrance bar. First, the custom wall paneling throughout the boutique sets the architectural rhythm of the space. Then, handcrafted coffered ceiling moldings above add scale and formality to the room. Meanwhile, layered brass and crystal chandeliers add warmth and sparkle that plays off the natural light from the storefront glazing.

Meanwhile, custom-built furniture and fixtures anchor the space: a tailored wood fragrance counter, open-frame display shelving with integrated lighting, and dedicated testing stations. 01 — Custom Wall Paneling
A Paneling System Built to Frame the Brand
Crisp white shiplap-style paneling runs the length of the boutique, framing a warm, botanical-patterned accent surface above. Every panel seam and reveal line was set out and installed with precise alignment, so the wall reads as one continuous architectural gesture rather than a series of separate finishes.
02 — Handcrafted Ceiling Moldings
Coffered Ceilings That Set the Scale
Deep coffered ceiling moldings were custom-built to give the retail floor architectural weight and formality, echoing classic boutique design while staying true to a clean, modern material palette. The coffers also provide a natural rhythm for the space’s layered brass and crystal chandeliers, tying lighting and millwork together as one design decision.
03 — Tailored Retail Furniture
Fixtures Built to the Brand’s Exact Specification
The wood fragrance counter, testing station, and surrounding cabinetry were fabricated in-house and finished with warm-toned wood and brass hardware that complements the ceiling and lighting above. Every drawer, door, and display surface was custom-built and fitted to hold product at exactly the height and angle the brand experience calls for.
04 — Custom Display Shelving
Open Shelving, Built for Clean Sightlines
Open-frame display shelving with integrated lighting was custom-built to showcase product without visually crowding the room. The white powder-coated frame keeps the structure light and architectural, letting the merchandise — and the coffered ceiling and chandeliers above it — remain the focal point of the space.
